Lucy has taken over running her mom’s cat cafe after her mom’s injury and the cafe is struggling. She doesn’t want her mom to know, but she needs to fix the problem. So, she emails her old friend Jake, now part of the popular boy band The Usual Suspects and asks for his possibility to help restore the cafe.

She was so determined and focused on helping the cat cafe! She was very clever and cool, and didn’t get flustered easily, which I loved.

I love a good bad boy! He was very sweet, beneath the bad boy exterior and he was just a really great book boyfriend!

I loved how there was no third act breakup and the entire book was just the leadup to the romance, as opposed to a romance and then a third act breakup. It was so sweet and adorable and I just loved the tension and story of them getting together.
