Allesandra is an alcoholic, and knows she shouldn’t be, but doesn’t decide to quit until a shocking incident happens, ripping her of some of her children. She decides that, with God’s help, she will get better, no matter what.

For being an indie book, this cover is very nice and looks really professional! I was very impressed, even though I only had a Kindle copy and didn’t get to see it in person. Props to the author for that!

I really loved her love and care for her children and her dedication to getting better! She was very stubborn (in a good way) and very perseverant! Once she decided she needed to get better and was going to, she didn’t really fall off her trail.

I am not calling myself an expert on anything, but I do know people who are involved in the foster care system, and the way Allesandra dealt with it didn’t seem very realistic, but that could be just me, as I am not an expert and just know what I have been told.

In summary, if you like addiction recovery stories, Christian fiction, “turn-to-Jesus” books and stories about mothers who will do anything for their children, you will love this book!
