Oh my goodness, this book is gorgeous! The sprayed edges are unreal and SO pretty. Every so often when I’m reading I stop to admire the pages. This is actually my first book I have owned with sprayed edges so. . . The cover is so pretty! I absolutely love K. L. Walther’s cover style and look forward to adding this book to my other K. L. Walther books.

Audrey and Henry are best friends, and have been forever. But when Henry breaks up with his girlfriend, he suggests a plan to make her jealous. Fake-dating. Of course, we all know where that goes. Audrey is also an amazing glass-blower and has an opportunity for an amazing fellowship, but her parents don’t want to pay. Audrey has to figure out how to scrape up the money (and fast). But as things keep going, is she in over her head?

Fake dating? I am SO IN. This book was SO GOOD!!! My one complaint is the beginning felt a little confusing, but that could have just been me (I was struggling to find a good spot to read and such) but once I was in, I was in. K. L. Walther has produced another masterpiece.

I loved Audrey as a character. I am very crafty and I could relate to her passion for glass-blowing and how she was willing to do anything to get it. She was a very nice character who just felt very relatable

Henry was so sweet and definitely on my list of book boyfriends. I LOVED how he was always calling Audrey a name from an Audrey Hepburn movie, it was so cute! He was always very considerate of Audrey and they went on a lot of adventures together.

☆⛤♥⭑the romance⭑♥⛤☆
This romance was just like any other fake-dating book BUT IN A GOOD WAY. It is exactly what you would expect, both from a K. L. Walther book and from a fake-dating book (like Better Than The Movies). This is a little spicier than a normal K.L. Walther book (by a few sentences). It is still faded to black but there is a bit more lead up to it before it fades.

☆⛤♥⭑the glass-blowing⭑♥⛤☆
I want to glass-blow so badly now, thanks K. L. Walther! The description of the crafts was so detailed and Audrey’s passion for it felt so real and understandable.

If you love cute romances (Lynn Painter, Ann Liang), books set on the beach, books where characters have an art-themed passion, fake-dating books, or romances in general, you will love this book!
