Thank you G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers for the ARC, this review is my own facts and opinions!

😘 - two characters kiss, it isn’t super descriptive and pretty clean
🤬 - high school language
13+ due to the language

This book had all I wanted from a thriller, twisty plot, interesting characters, high stakes, and the clock kept ticking. I really enjoyed reading this book and would enjoy more from the author as well. This will be going on my list of thrillers that I enjoy rereading year after year, all cozy and safe in my bed. :)

☆⛤♥⭑plot/premise⭑♥⛤☆
The idea for this book and the premise were SOLID and I loved the idea. Yearbook superlatives but they start dying? The “prologue” was good and ominous, like a typical thriller first chapter. It definitely kept me hooked and I never wanted to stop reading or put it down. I finished this book in a day (I am a fast reader) because I wanted to keep reading and find out what would happen next. In the acknowledgments section (in my ARC), the author talks about how she came up with the idea and I really enjoyed that little behind the scenes look.

☆⛤♥⭑the ending/murderer⭑♥⛤☆
The ending was satisfying, and a little creepy but solid for a thriller. My only complaint is that the murderer wasn’t really on their radar. I don’t want to say anything else to spoil it, but that is my only complaint. The ending did make sense though and seemed normal. . .and then (no spoilers!).

I loved her attitude and vibe. She just seems like someone who I would be immediate besties with and she was really smart too. One of my biggest pet peeves is when characters in a thriller or murder mystery have no clue what’s happening and put themselves in danger. This did not happen in Most Likely to Murder, THANK YOU Lish McBride.

Overall, if you like thrillers, you will enjoy this book! This is a typical high school set thriller, but will still surprise you and keep you turning the pages.
