😘 - some making out, not super descriptive
☆⛤♥⭑final thoughts⭑♥⛤☆
The author did an amazing job making this whole book feel so real! The school atmosphere felt realistic, something that is hard to do. I just absolutely loved this book and definitely want to reread it! I am so excited that it is part of a series and definitely want to read the next one/ones!
If you are even thinking of reading this book, READ IT! You will absolutely love it!

🤬 - they are in high school and talk like it
14+ because of the high school atmosphere
This book was amazing! I expected it to be good but it surpassed my expectations and I loved it!! Thank you for Book Sirens for the ARC, this review is my own facts and opinions!
☆⛤♥⭑plot⭑♥⛤☆
Maisy is a foster kid and doesn’t expect a lot when she goes to her new house. When she meets Tim and Amanda she is blown away. Their son Chris is super nice to her and they have a sibling bond. Her two younger siblings love the family too. And Chris happens to have cute friend named Colton. Maisy has to learn how to live life when she isn’t the one in charge, and how to deal with mean girls.
☆⛤♥⭑maisy⭑♥⛤☆
Maisy was such a strong character, she kind of reminded me of Carley Connors from One For The Murphys as she tried to be independent before finally letting Tim and Amanda in. Her bond and care for her siblings was inspiring, sweet, and heartbreaking at the same time
☆⛤♥⭑chris⭑♥⛤☆
Chris was so sweet and nice and probably my favorite character. Him and Maisy immediately bonded and it just made my heart happy how sweet they were to each other. I loved how he called her “Maisy Mae”. I would love a big brother like him!
☆⛤♥⭑colton⭑♥⛤☆
Colton was one of the best book boyfriends I have ever read. He was so sweet and careful with Maisy, not wanting to stress her out or take her too far. He was perfectly okay with her boundaries and waited for her to tell him things.
☆⛤♥⭑sibling bond⭑♥⛤☆
Chris and Maisy were so well connected and I loved it! They were so cute. Maisy’s bond with Nat and CJ was adorable, as well as Nat’s bond with Chris. This author did an amazing job making these bonds feel real, which can be hard to do.
☆⛤♥⭑romance⭑♥⛤☆
The romance came into the scene a little late, it felt like, but the romance was very real and believable. It was adorable and they were both respectful of each other.
