I cannot express how much this book is amazing, but underrated. This is such a GOOD mystery, and pretty light (as far as a murder mystery can go). My mom recommended this book for me and yes, it has a funky cover, but the cover is not the book.
Plot:
A well-known ghostwriter gets the opportunity of a lifetime- to talk to a well-known senator and write her book. Of course, she takes the opportunity and heads to Maine. When one of Dorothy (the senator's), neighbors dies unexpectedly, Dorothy wants to get to the heart of the mystery. So, of course, the ghostwriter helps. They are going to untangle a deep and twisty mystery.
Thoughts:
I'm just going to say, the ending of the book is *PERFECT* ohmigosh chef's kiss it is something I never saw coming and props to the author for that. This is honestly a cozy murder mystery if you know what I mean. You are ready to curl up and read a good mystery, safe in your room. Overall, if you want a mystery, read this. You won't be sorry.
