⭐ language, pretty clean except for little explosions of anger
⭐ the romance is nearly nonexistent and pretty clean
12+ because it is a pretty easy read without a lot of dark parts
i read jane eyre for school and KNEW i had to reread this and see all the comparisons and oh my goodness they were there and really cool honestly. you don't need to have read jane eyre to read this, it just makes it SO much more interesting
