0 star language - this is an old book and therefore clean
0 star romance - yes, characters “court” but nothing is on page, as expected
13+ because it is a long and hard book to read. If you feel someone specifically younger could read it , hand it to them!
I absolutely LOVED this book! Lousia May Alcott wrote so well and I love the little Christian aspects of the novel. Jo was an amazing character who loved to read (similar to me) and Beth was such a quiet girl who did everything asked of her and more. Highly recommend! I want to read the rest of the series mainly for Alcott's amazing writing.
